Vanek's Views: DraftKings NFL DFS Picks for Week 14

Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming NFL DFS main slate on DraftKings for Week 14. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends is a must-read before you start building your lineups.
The first slate in forever where I don’t have to talk about the Carolina Panthers is already a win. As a Panthers fan, I have no clue what to make of this team anymore, so I’ll just enjoy the ride. What I do know is that the Rams are in a strong rebound spot and the Ravens set up as an interesting mini stack opportunity as they look to bounce back as well.
It’s December now, and the NFL weather concerns only increase with the temperatures dropping. Our NFL DFS projections are important for seeing how those impacts might shift the slate. Monitoring projected ownership on the top-tier RBs will also be huge – there are plenty of elite options, but the pricing makes it tough to fit them, which should create some real leverage spots.

NFL DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, WRs, & TEs for Week 14
Game Stacks
Josh Allen ($7,700, QB, Buffalo Bills)
Dalton Kincaid ($4,300, TE, Buffalo Bills)
Chase Brown ($6,700, RB, Cincinnati Bengals)

This CIN/BUF matchup is the best game on the slate, and Cincinnati’s recent spike in man coverage makes Kincaid the standout bring-back. He leads Buffalo in yards per route run vs. man, and Cincinnati has been the worst team in the NFL against tight ends. Even with Kincaid coming off of injury, I’m buying the bounce-back. If he’s ruled out, the pivot becomes Keon Coleman ($4,000, WR) – Buffalo’s target leader vs. man – or cheap value shots like Dawson Knox ($2,800, TE) or Jackson Hawes ($2,500, TE). Cincinnati’s heavy man rates also boost Allen’s rushing ceiling, which is always an angle you want in these spots.

On the Cincinnati side, Buffalo’s run defense has been most vulnerable to speed, and Brown is easily the most explosive runner Cincinnati has. The threat of the passing game only enhances his efficiency here. Buffalo has already allowed four different RBs to score 30+ DK points this season – almost all through long, breakaway plays – and Brown fits that mold perfectly.
