We have a surprisingly fun matchup tonight, as the 6-4 Vikings bring their 5-game winning streak to Denver, where the 4-5 Broncos are on their own 3-game winning streak with big wins over the Bills and Chiefs recently. Hopefully the weather holds off, as there is a chance for scattered showers and even occasional gusts of 25mph wind, with temps in the 40s. Justin Jefferson remains out for Minnesota, but Alexander Mattison and K.J. Osborn are cleared from concussion protocol. Denver comes in with no new injuries.

NFL DFS Showdown Picks: Vikings at Broncos Week 11

Currently, this game is sitting at a 41.5 total, with the Broncos favored by 3 points. Denver’s defense has really figured things out lately, holding their last four opponents to 22 points or less. So Josh Dobbs and the Vikings will have their work cut out for them playing in the elements after 3 straight dome games.

Quarterback

I’m much more interested in Dobbs ($10,600) than Russell Wilson ($10,000) for cash games, as Wilson hasn’t gone over 20 FP in 5 straight games, but Dobbs has gone over 24 FP in 3 straight games. Dobbs is also much more likely to provide value in the rushing department, with 4 straight games with a rushing TD. And as road underdogs, he’ll likely still have to throw 35+ times assuming Denver can put some points on the board.

Running Back

There are reports of a likely “pretty even split” between Alexander Mattison ($7,400) and Ty Chandler ($7,000), so I will likely steer clear of both of them in my main build and only sprinkle them in across other GPP lineups.

Javonte Williams ($8,800) is the RB to target coming off another great game on 25 touches, and he makes for a strong Captain play at a great price.

Wide Receiver

With Jefferson still out, Jordan Addison ($8,400) remains the WR1, and with 7+ targets in 4 straight games, he should be a top cash game play to stack with Dobbs. Osborn ($6,600) and Brandon Powell ($4,000) will just be GPP plays for me at those prices.

Courtland Sutton ($8,200) is the clear cash game play over Jerry Jeudy ($7,800) at basically the same price. The targets are heavily favoring Sutton, along with the end-zone looks, with a TD in 4 straight games.

Tight End

TJ Hockenson ($9,400) has been phenomenal with Dobbs under center, with 12+ targets in 3 of his last 4 games and 19+ FP in those 3 games. He should be a cash game lock with your Dobbs/Addison stacks, and that trio is about as safe of a play that you can start your main build with.

Adam Trautman ($3,600) remains the de facto TE1, but he’s way too expensive for someone who’s seen just 6 total targets over the last 4 games. He won’t be on my radar.

Defense / Special Teams

I’m not thrilled about using either D/ST in cash games, but both are around $4,500, so they’re worth sprinkling across GPPs if you’re doing MME (mass multi-entry).

Both kickers are around $5,000, and in most scenarios would be solid cash game plays, but with potential rain and wind gusts, I think they’re a bit risky for cash games. However, I’d still go with one of them over a defense if you need to fill a final flex spot.

Sunday Night Football NFL DFS Strategy

I like going heavy on the Vikings pass game with Williams as the main Denver bring-back. I think Sutton the clear 2nd-best play from Denver for the price. I think a 4-2 MIN stack with Dobbs over Wilson is the way to go for most lineups.

DraftKings DFS Showdown Rankings

1. TJ Hockenson – Likely highest targeted player of the night at a great price.

2. Javonte Williams – Should see big volume again and remains too cheap.

3. Joshua Dobbs – Much higher floor/ceiling combo than Wilson, and I like stacking him with at least Hockenson.

4. Jordan Addison – Should remain busy with Jefferson still out and just has too much upside as the deep man for Dobbs.

5. Courtland Sutton – Way safer play than Jeudy, and I’d make sure to have him on any lineup you omit Williams. I’d Captain him on some GPP teams.
