Now with NFL around the corner and MLB heading into the home stretch, it’s time to take another look at the updated Grinders Rankings. As the NFL season starts up and the MLB season winds down, it’s important to take a look at where we stand in the seasonal leaderboards as well as the TPOY race before all the large live finals get started and a large influx of points changes the landscape once again.

Tournament Player of the Year Leaderboard

Notes

The Tournament Player of the Year (TPOY) award is one of the most coveted and prestigious awards in DFS; as such, the attention it gets throughout the year is well deserved. At the moment, the race is a very tight one between several high volume grinders who have witnessed some tremendous success. Everybody knows about BeepImaJeep and his exploits in the DK qualifiers by winning four tickets in a row to the FBWC. And like it or not, what maxdalury has done this season is beyond impressive in regards to his large and dominant wins. However, the player that comes out on top at this point in time is the “not as heralded” @Theclone, who narrowly edges out maxdalury for first place in our TPOY competition. It will be an exciting finish to baseball season and then we have the start of NFL season; with millionaires crowned every week, the leaderboards are sure to change.

Notes

With MLB about 70% done, we can look at the seasonal leaderboard and we see that maxdalury is now far and away ahead of the pack with more than double the points of second place player and long time grinder Birdwings.
