WNBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Caitlin Clark Over/Under 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
A’ja Wilson Over/Under 27.5 Points

Caitlin Clark Over/Under 17.5 Points

Clark enters play averaging only 16.1 points per game this season, but she gets an extremely favorable matchup against Washington, which ranks in the bottom half of the WNBA in defensive rating this season and 9th out of 12 teams on the road.

Clark has also been playing better basketball at home of late, with at least 20 points in 3 of her last 5 home games. Her two misses during that stretch came against a pair of defenses that rank in the top half of the league in defensive rating on the road this season.

The math supports Clark scoring 18+ points.

Caitlin Clark Over/Under 2.5 Three-Pointers Made

In recent weeks, Clark has been attempting slightly fewer shot attempts from beyond the arc, but her volume is still good enough to warrant a look at the over against a beatable Washington perimeter defense.

Washington has allowed the 4th-most above-the-break 3-point attempts per game on the road this season, which is where Clark attempts nearly all of her long-range shots. In their last 2 road games alone, Washington has allowed 10 made 3-pointers on 25 such attempts. Clark should have every opportunity to get the job done.

A’ja Wilson Over/Under 27.5 Points

A’ja Wilson is averaging 28 points per game this season, but it’s possible that she is on the verge of some regression. After scoring 28+ points in 8 consecutive games, she finally fell somewhat flat this past Saturday, scoring only 21 points against New York.

This season, she’s averaging a career-high 8.1 free throw attempts per game and shooting a career-best 43.8% from 3-point territory. Both of those numbers are candidates for at least some regression, given her historical production. This is a tall number for anyone in any situation. Don’t be surprised if Wilson has a good game but falls short of this number.
