Saturday, November 11th

Tonight, we have a large eleven game slate to choose from with eight teams (Hawks, Bulls, Clippers, Jazz, Bucks, Spurs, Magic, and Nets) on the second half of a back-to-back. Let’s have a look at some of my favorite plays for the slate.

Point Guard

PG: Jeff Teague, Minnesota Timberwolves, $28
Sometimes it’s just as easy as plugging a point guard in against the Suns. Phoenix ranks 29th in defensive rating and 30th (dead last) in DVP vs. the point guard position and have already given up big games to pretty much every opposing point guard that has played decent minutes against them and Teague is averaging over 33 minutes per game. This game should also play at a fast pace, as the Wolves rank 13th and the Suns rank 2nd in pace, making this a nice pace-up spot for the Wolves. Teague has also been more aggressive this season, as he ranks 3rd of the Wolves starters in usage with a 20.3% usage rate. This game also has a monster 227-point total and hopefully it will be somewhat competitive with the Wolves on the road. Regardless, I like Teague to easily pay off his salary in this one.
