I will be concentrating on the four game main slate this afternoon, but there are some good games happening earlier in the day. The PHX/HOU matchup is projected by far to be the highest scoring, but also comes with quite a bit of blowout risk. That being said, if you can get solid cheap value from either side the scoring differential is unlikely to be too much of a factor. The highest owned player on this slate is likely to be Anthony Davis in the NO/LAC game. Its going to be his team moving forward this season, and in a matchup against the Clippers he should be an across the board play. This is the game you are going to want to pull a majority of your other plays from this afternoon, because it should be a relatively high scoring and competitive matchup. The CHI/MIL game is the least appealing of the bunch in what is projected to be a slower paced low scoring affair. Have a great Sunday!
Point Guard
Kyle Lowry vs Lakers: $32
Lowry has been dreadful from the field his last two games going 5 for 24, but tonight he gets a matchup against the Lakers. The Lakers play at the NBA’s fastest pace and are an above average matchup for opposing guards. Lowry has a ton of upside when his shot is falling, and I assume he use this game to get out of his shooting funk. He is your best bang for your buck in cash games, but Westbrook and Simmons are solid high end options and Murray should be a serviceable low end guard against a bad opponent.
