Thursday, October 26th

Tonight, we have five games to choose from, headlined by Demarcus Cousins revenge back in Sacramento and the game with the highest total of the night – Clippers at Blazers. Let’s have a look at some of my favorite plays for the slate.

Point Guard

PG: Jerian Grant, Chicago Bulls, $11
Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said it’s “50-50” that Dunn will play on Thursday vs. the Hawks, but as I wrote this it’s been announced that Dunn is out for tonight. With Dunn out you have to love the price for Grant. He’s averaging 31 minutes per game, close to 20% usage, and has been more aggressive than last season since the Bulls need anyone to step up and score at this point. This is also a sneaky good game for fantasy production, as both teams are bad and it’s a pace up spot for the Bulls, as the Hawks currently rank 5th in pace. The Hawks rank 20th in DVP vs. the point guard position and have already given up big games to Dennis Smith Jr., Kemba Walker, D’Angelo Russell, and Goran Dragic. Sure, Grant is not as talented offensively as any of those players, but at $11 he should blow through value.
