With Kyrie out tonight, these Boston guys are going to be very popular again and for a good reason. Rozier is actually priced up for a site like Yahoo, so maybe we get him a little lower owned than we normally would and I absolutely love the spot. Rozier has proven he will play in all game flows, which is a huge edge obviously and I think he is one of the easiest plug and plays of the night. Bledsoe is a little more interesting with Jennings coming in and stealing some of the buzz after a big game last time out. Maybe this causes Bledsoe to go under the radar tonight, but he seems way too cheap and is definitely someone I want exposure to. The point isn’t very deep tonight, so I don’t even hate going with a few min guys like Quinn Cook or Shaun Livingston with Curry out.
A super interesting spot tonight is going to be Swaggy going against his former team. With Curry out, he should be in line for extra minutes and usage because this team might be the best in the league, but they aren’t deep like they used to be a few years back, so they will need some Swaggy scoring. He is always risky because his floor is 0, but I have a feeling we see a huge game tonight from these Warriors coming off a couple losses and Swaggy at minimum price with the usage boost is a great play. Johnson isn’t a guy I play very often because of how deep the Heat are, but he has been playing really well and the matchup is as good as it gets, especially on a short slate like tonight, so he is definitely in play. Bogdan is easily one of my favorite guys in the league and literally might be the best player that normal fans have never heard of. None of these guys are a must, but they are all solid plays this evening.
With Curry and Draymond out tonight these guys are literally almost as easy as it gets in this spot. Durant should be 100% owned and he won’t be even close because a lot of people outsmart themselves. He is literally like the easiest play of all time and there is no reason to fade him whatsoever in any format… just jam him. Casspi is a little trickier because he obviously isn’t very good, but he is perfect in a spot like tonight. He can score the ball and make plays when called upon and in a game like tonight, I could see him stepping up in a very big way. He is min priced and going to crush with how much I love the Warriors tonight both of these guys are 100% lock buttons for me on all teams.
With how much I like the Golden State guys tonight I definitely need some Lakers to run it back with and Randle makes a ton of sense as to where that starts. He has turned himself into a super consistent weapon for them and since Nance got traded away he has taken his game to another level. The Warriors are majorly shorthanded tonight and I could see Randle dominating the paint tonight with a huge 20-20 type game even if the Warriors end up winning. Even though I like Golden State to score a bunch of points I could actually see the Lakers competing in this game because they are much better than people realize right now. I know on a short slate all of these guys are going to be popular, but it is such a clear way to go I just don’t see a reason to fade because Randle is going to crush. Parker is the guy I have been watching closely lately with his minutes on the rise and I am waiting for him to start crushing on a regular basis. Tonight is as good of a spot as any to show us some upside and I wouldn’t be shocked at all if we see a huge game. Either way, he is way too cheap and a great play tonight against this miserable Orlando team.
Somehow I feel like both of these teams have played on the same night for a bunch of slates in a row now because I keep writing up the same trio night in and night out. They are all way too cheap and excellent plays and like I have said the last few times I wish there was a way to use all three guys because it is super hard to narrow them down to only two. Henson would for sure be my favorite I think just because of opportunity. He should never be priced at the min for how much he is asked to do as one of the only bigs that they even play. Both Heat guys get the dream matchup against the Kings and I expect both to have monster games as well. If playing one team I would play Henson for sure and start with Bam, but if you have the salary go up to Kelly O because he is slightly a better overall play.
