THE BAT Context-Neutral Projections

THE BAT’s Context-Neutral Projections strip out all of the environmental factors that influence THE BAT’s traditional projections. This is how a player would project without the impact of parks, weather, umpires, defense, catcher framing, home field advantage, etc. The only things included are things related to the hitter, the pitcher, and the catcher’s throwing. These are not recommended for casual players, since the context that is removed is very important and a big part of THE BAT’s edge. These are experimental projections for advanced GPP players that may highlight under-the-radar players who have a good batter/pitcher matchup but will be ignored because of context.
