Steelers Big 3 officially confirmed out this week
This only confirms what has been expected all week as Pittsburgh Head Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed that Bell, Brown, and Big Ben would all be out this week. Landry Jones, Fitzgerald Toussaint, and Eli Rogers (along with Cobi Hamilton) all provide sources of value this weekend as the Steelers have a plus match up against the Browns.
Ben Roethlisberger will be out for 4-6 weeks
It was initially thought that Big Ben might be able to return after the Steelers bye week next week but reports have come out stating that he will need additional time and will be out for 4-6 weeks now. It's a big blow for the Steelers offense and most notably fantasy stalwarts Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown as they are not the same with Landry Jones at the helm. The team faces the Patriots this week and are priced as if Big Ben was still the QB making them easy fades this week. There is some talk of being able to roster the two at low ownership (which is true) but their upside is limited given the match up and talent at QB.
Landry Jones out with injured foot
Landry Jones has exited the game with a foot injury and it looks like Ben Roethlisberger will enter in his place. This is good news for those who took a chance on players like Antonio Brown - bad news for those who gambled on Jones.
