FOX Bet PA Sportsbook Promo Code
FOX Bet PA went live on September 5th, 2019.
FOX Bet PA is the result of a landmark deal between internet gambling giant The Stars Group and media giant FOX Sports. The combination of The Stars Group online sports betting technology and FOX Sports familiar name, advertising and media coverage will make FOX Bet a force to be reckoned with in the growing US sports betting market.
FOX Bet has partnered with Mount Airy Casino in Pennsylvania. Mount Airy was the last of the PA casinos to put up the $10 million application fee but finally did so in April 2019. Mount Airy wasted no time announcing a deal with The Stars Group, giving them a very solid lineup for casino, poker and of course, sports betting. The news only got better for Mount Airy when The Stars Group announced their deal with FOX sports, only strengthening their position in the PA betting market.

What Advantages Will FOX Bet Have in the PA Market?
- Experience: The Stars Group is one of the most experienced online gaming companies in the world. Most well known for their PokerStars brand, they have been operating their online sportsbook for since 2017 in New Jersey (BetStars is now FOX Bet NJ).
- Partnerships: Combining the gambling experience of The Stars Group with media giant FOX Sports seems like a match made in heaven. FOX Sports adds name recognition, as well as free advertising during some of the biggest moments in sports including the Super Bowl, World Series and international soccer matches. The partnership also brings an air of legitimacy to what some may see as a black market.
- Shared wallet with Sportsbooks/Casino/Poker: PokerStars stands to make a huge splash in the PA online poker market alongside FOX Bet, and should be strong contender for #1 in sports betting. Adding the convenience of making it a one-stop-shop, and you have a strong recipe for success.
My Experience with FOX Bet PA
Signup – Signup was quick and easy, just entered my information and my identity was verified. One thing to note is that New Jersey FOX Bet/PokerStars accounts do not transfer over to PA.
First Deposit – After signup, I was brought directly over to the cashier. I attempted to make a deposit using Echeck, but there seemed to be a problem with their processing system. I ended up successfully using my debit card and the bonus $100 was added instantly to my account.
First Bets – The US Open final was about an hour away from starting when I signed up, and FOX Bet had 16 odds boosts listed for the match including a +100000 bet for Nadal to win 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. There was no shortage of betting options, including all the standard moneyline, spreads, over/unders and an above average amount of prop bets compared to other sites. If you look hard enough, there are some great value bets mixed in with some below average odds, and we even managed to find some arbitrage bets where you can bet both sides and guarantee a win.
General Betting – FOX Bet software is easy to navigate, and I loved the layout for live betting and pregame betting. Everything was easy to find and easily navigated to the tennis bets I wanted to bet on. I had no problems with pregame betting, in fact, the bets process quicker than most, but their InGame betting needs some work. A lot of standard InGame bets are listed as “OTB” (off the board) and the InGame page can get a little behind. For example, there were two tennis matches in the third set, but the InGame bets listed were still for the first set.
Their betslip is well organized, and makes it easy for you to check on bets that you already placed with constantly updating scores for all your bets. Bets are settled fairly quickly and you are alerted of any bets that are settled.
Lines/Odds – Pregame odds seem to be on par with the rest of the industry, but the InGame odds could use some work. FOX Bet charges a lot of juice on InGame betting, and we hope they make some changes to this in the near future.
Cashouts – FOX Bet has many options for withdrawing funds. Cashouts are approved relatively quickly, usually around 2-3 days. Certain deposit methods have a 5 business day hold before the funds are able to be withdrawn, but any profit from bets can be withdrawn before that 5 day hold is over.
