Primetime Parlay: 49ers vs. Seahawks Same Game Parlay Picks
Last year, ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool helped create a variety of fun same-game parlay tickets throughout the NFL season. Through thousands of simulations, the tool examines the potential value various betting lines offer on sports betting apps. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a same-game parlay for the San Francisco 49ers versus the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving.
The NFL closes Thanksgiving with a treat in the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers head to Seattle to play the Seahawks in a meaningful divisional matchup. Fight off the tryptophan to stay for this one as Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and company look to take a tighter grip on a division title. We will take a look at betting odds and key injuries before building a same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

49ers vs. Seahawks Same Game Parlay
The 49ers are seven-point road favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook as of this writing. SAO reports that most action has found San Francisco throughout the short week. San Francisco bettors account for 80% of tickets and 85% of spread bets. With key injuries on the Seattle side, the better team is obviously going to be of great interest to the betting public.
The implied game total sits at 43.5. Oddly, only 30% of tickets were bet on the over while 71% of betting handle predicts more of a shootout. Normally, we see most money on the under, so this game’s discrepancy is telling. The 49ers come into this game in full health, aside from Talanoa Hufanga, who tore his ACL last week and is out for the year.
For the Seahawks, Geno Smith is questionable for tonight’s game while Kenneth Walker is doubtful with an oblique injury. Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf were removed from the injury report and will play in tonight’s game while safety Jamal Adams seems likely to play. If Geno Smith were to miss tonight’s game, Drew Lock would take the snaps and the point spread would go to the moon.
The 49ers’ offense continues to be one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL, ranking high in nearly every offensive category. Brock Purdy continues to impress — bouncing back nicely after a three-game losing streak. The young signal-caller continues to make great decisions coming off of a perfect passer rating. The NFL MVP race gets tighter each week, but Purdy has made a move up the board — sitting at +1500 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here are the offensive statistics for both teams ahead of tonight’s contest.
San Francisco Offense
3rd — 27.9 PPG
2nd — 6.4 YPP
1st — 9.6 Passing YPA
10th — 4.4 Rushing YPA
Seattle Offense
16th — 21.6 PPG
11th — 5.4 YPP
11th — 7.1 Passing YPA
17th — 4.1 Rushing YPA
In addition to an efficient offense, the San Francisco 49ers offer the top-scoring defense in the NFL. San Francisco allows a modest 5.7 yards per pass attempt despite only possessing the 22nd-best sack percentage in the league. The addition of Chase Young has helped — the 49ers have a 9.92% sack rate over the last three weeks.
For Seattle, the defensive numbers are not as noteworthy. Seattle ranks 19th in scoring defense with a 21.8 PPG average. They allow 6.2 yards per pass attempt and don’t get to the quarterback much, either.
Even at home, the Seattle Seahawks will be fighting an uphill battle against a team built to win a championship. Without Kenneth Walker, the Seahawks hope Zach Charbonnet can pay off his draft selection and the passing offense can do just enough to hang in tonight’s game. Let’s see what ParlayIQ has to say about the Thanksgiving primetime affair.
Same Game Parlay Picks for Thursday Night Football
- McCaffrey Over 33.5 Receiving Yards
- Lockett Over 49.5 Receiving Yards
- San Francisco Over 26.5 Points
Christian McCaffrey Over 33.5 Receiving Yards
A primetime holiday parlay requires a superstar. No star shines brighter in the NFL universe than Christian McCaffrey. CMC continues to put together an MVP-like season, even if the award is only given to quarterbacks.
Eli Mitchell only touched the ball four times last week. McCaffrey dominates the snaps for the 49ers and will continue to do so when healthy. In on every play, he will have plenty of opportunities to catch passes and make plays against a Seattle defense ranked seventh-worst with respect to receiving yards for the running back position.
Tyler Lockett Over 49.5 Receiving Yards
The 49ers’ defense is stout, indeed, but somebody has to catch passes. Nobody is more reliable than Tyler Lockett. ParlayIQ projects Lockett as the only player to exceed his receiving prop more than 50% of the time.
I tend to agree, regardless of the quarterback. Lockett will move around the formation and will be available for quick catches over the middle or outside. The 49ers do not give up much but the Seahawks will be forced to throw if they play from behind. Lockett is north of this number six games this season for a team that prefers to run the air out of the football. I think he gets there again, tonight.
San Francisco Over 26.5 Points
Finally, I know this is a divisional matchup, but I agree with ParlayIQ. I think the 49ers make a statement on the road and pound the Seahawks, tonight.
To score 27 points, we are likely looking at four touchdowns or three touchdowns and a couple of field goals. At full strength, the 49ers’ offense is going to be too much for the Seahawks to handle. If Geno Smith can’t play, the defense is going to wreak havoc on Drew Lock. The backups might get some reps on Thanksgiving night.
