What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – MIN -121
Pitcher Grind Down
MIN – Mike Pelfrey is well Mike Pelfrey. And that’s not a good thing. At least not fantasy wise. ERA over 6 and a low K rate means stay far away. Avoid
PHI – Tyler Cloyd hasn’t gotten much love from Vegas, he seems to be an underdog every time he pitches, but of the two starters, I would much rather have Cloyd. Luckily for us though, we have more options. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
MIN – The best bats for the Twins are the lefties Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau. That bodes well for the Twins tonight against the righty Cloyd.
PHI – Domonic Brown is the guy I am going to have in a lot of lineups tonight. Pelfrey has been awful and even though Brown isn’t knocking HR’s every night anymore, I think he gets one tonight. Ryan Howard also has good value.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 11.0
- Favored Team – COL -165
Pitcher Grind Down
- Again, the over/under is way too high to even consider taking a pitcher. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
COL – Load up as many players from this game as you can. None are out of play. Just check the lineup and fill out your roster accordingly. Ohlendorf is in big trouble.
WAS – De La Rosa hasn’t been terrible at home this season, but you still have to love the Nationals bats against the lefty. All of the right hand bats are in play: Werth, Zimmerman, and Desmond.

NYY vs R | NYY BvP | OAK vs R | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – OAK -122
Pitcher Grind Down
OAK – The A’s are a tough tough team at home. Colon really pitched well against the Yankees last night and even though this should be a good spot for Straily, I just don’t think the Yankee bats are going to stay quiet for long. He’s in play, but I don’t think I’m going to roll with Straily. In Play
NYY – The A’s are a tough tough team at home. Phil Hughes can have really solid starts and he can also blow up and not be able to make it out of the first innings. A bit too inconsistent for me. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
OAK – Yoenis Cespedes is about the only A with a good track record against Hughes, but I think they find a way to get it done again tonight. Keep you eye on John Jaso even though the BvP numbers aren’t there.
NYY – This is a great spot for Robinson Cano. Not exactly a hitter’s park, but I think Cano gets a hold of one tonight. He is batting .320 against righties with 11 HR’s. Brett Gardner is also worth a look as he gets on base often and has good speed.

ARI vs L | ARI BvP | LAD vs L | LAD BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 6.5
- Favored Team – LAD -115
Pitcher Grind Down
LAD – After last night’s brawl, it makes me a bit nervous taking pitcher’s from this game. If either pitcher hits a batter, they could immediately get thrown out. That said, both pitchers appear to be in good spots tonight. Hyun-Jin Ryu has posted a 1.50 ERA at home with a WHIP of only 0.880. Should be another great start for him against the D-Backs. Target
ARI – Patrick Corbin has also been a stud this season and has a good matchup. I think this could be one of those games when two runs of support is enough to pick up the win. It’s really going to be a coin flip and both pitchers are in play. Target
Batter Grind Down
- This ugly over/under of 6.5 says to steer clear of hitters. I concur.

HOU vs R | HOU BvP | SEA vs R | SEA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SEA -150
Pitcher Grind Down
SEA – I hope you listened to my advice to take Aaron Harang last night. I told you that I though he would pitch as well as Iwakuma did the other night, and he even topped that by throwing a complete game shutout with 10 K’s. He came up huge. At this point, you just have to keep rolling out whichever pitcher is facing the Astros. Tonight that happens to be Jeremy Bonderman. I have absolutely no faith in him, but I have less faith in the Astros. Target
HOU – Jordan Lyles hasn’t given up more than 2 earned runs in any of his last 5 starts which is pretty impressive. It’s not a bad matchup for him tonight against the Mariners. The problem is that you can’t rely on any run support from that offense. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
SEA – I don’t really love the Mariners offense today, but Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse are both always threats to homer.
HOU – At this point, why even bother researching their batters. They have been so bad offensively that you can just save time by skipping over them.
