What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TEX -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Brad Peacock has been a gas can so far this year at the MLB level. There is no reason to believe it stops today. TEX is batting .256 on the road, .263 versus right-handers, and .285 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
- Away Derek Holland should mow though this weak HOU offense today. He has been the model of reliability and HOU only seems to come alive versus shaky pitcher. Expect a solid line from him tonight. HOU is batting .232 at home, .248 versus left-handers, and .252 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home Jose Altuve and Chris Carter are worth a look versus left-handers but the Astros are very weak offensively. RG Stack Rating2
- Away Left-handers are lighting up Peacock to a .309 BAA so use A.J. Pierzynski, Mitch Moreland, David Murphy and Leonys Martin. Adrian Beltre has been super hot and is in the mix as well. RG Stack Rating 9

CHC vs R ![]() | CHC BvP ![]() | STL vs R ![]() | STL BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – STL -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Michael Wacha takes the hill as the huge favorite in a game that features a very low OU. He has been pitching real deep into his AAA games with a 0.988 WHIP and CHC is not much better than a AAA squad. He offers huge upside today for a discounted price. CHC is batting .229 on the road, .244 versus right-handers, and .246 over th last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Carlos Villanueva is not horrible but he works too deep into counts versu batters and rarely makes it past 6 IP. He faces a super tough draw in STL today so he should be avoided by all except for those among us that like to play the extreme dark horse plays. STL is batting .277 at home, .284 versus right-handers, and .273 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home STL feeds off of right-handers at home and Villanueva is a subpar righty. Load them up if you like but consider everyone worth a look. I especially like a hot Matt Holliday who is underpriced. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Junior Lake or Anthony Rizzo are the only two Cubs worth considering. RG Stack Rating 1

PIT vs R ![]() | PIT BvP ![]() | COL vs R ![]() | COL BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – PIT -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Juan Nicasio has been actually better in Coors Field for whatever reason. The Pirates struggle on the road. I am not recommending you take Nicasio but temper your expectations for a PIT stack. PIT is batting .241 on the road, .242 versus right-handers, and .284 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away We got reminded of the Coors Field effect yesterday with the complete destruction of Liriano. A.J. Burnett numbers are just as good but it is a high risk play to take anyone going in COL. COL is batting .279 at home, .265 versus right-handers, and .242 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home I do not trust PIT outside of PIT but if I were going to take a player from this team it would be a super hot Andrew McCutchen with 33.75 fp over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away It is hard not to like Troy Tulowitzki at home no matter who he is playing. RG Stack Rating 4

NYM vs R ![]() | NYM BvP ![]() | ARI vs R ![]() | ARI BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – ARI -140
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Brandon McCarthy has struggled versus right-handers and left-handers on the season posting a plus .300 BAA versus each. He has been bad on the road and at home as well. Today, looks like a good day to explore NYM for some value plays. NYM is batting .247 on the road, .235 versus right-handers, and .234 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Zach Wheeler has shown a glimpse of the upside he has. He is certainly unpolished but he will have a GPP winning start before this season is through. You have to lie him at the discounted price in a multiple pitcher format against an ARI team that does not hit righties all that well. ARI is batting .254 at home, .255 versus right-handers, and .294 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Paul Goldschmidt and Martin Prado have been hot for ARI. Goldcshmidt, Prado, Chavez and Gregorious are all batting for a high average versus right-handers RG Stack Rating 3
- Away NYM is struggling but Ike Davis, Daniel Murphy and Juan Lagares are your best plays. RG Stack Rating 4

MIL vs R ![]() | MIL BvP ![]() | SEA vs L ![]() | SEA BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SEA -170
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Hisashi Iwakuma at home is money. It only helps things out that he is facing a MIL team that is completely lost at the plate without Braun and Ramirez. MIL is batting .247 on the road, .249 versus right-handers, and .206 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away When Tom Gorzelanny starts, he throws around 85 pitches. He has been pretty good in those 85 pitches but his upside is capped. SEA offense has come around the last couple of months and Iwakuma is very good at home so I think you can safely ignore Gorzelanny on the road today. SEA is batting .251 at home, .252 versus left-handers, and .277 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Seager, Smoak, Morlaes, and Miller are all hitting left-handers for a high average. Justin Smoak has been super hot with 30.5 fp over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away If you are going to take anyone from MIL make it the value plays of Khris Davis, Juan Francisco, or Jeff Bianchi. These players happen to be the most productive Brewers. RG Stack Rating 1
