What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – Pick ‘Em
Pitcher Grind Down
TEX – Justin Grimm is a decent young pitcher, but after the A’s torched Yu Darvish last night, I really don’t want to take a pitcher against them right now. Plus this game is in Arlington where runs come more often than not. Avoid
OAK – Tommy Milone is a very good pitcher, but this is a tough place to pitch and Vegas expects this to be a close, high scoring game. I think I would rather have Milone over Grimm, but neither one is really a great option. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
TEX – Nelson Cruz and Ian Kinsler love facing lefties. Both are in play today and are highly recommended plays. Adrian Beltre also has 2 HR’s off of Milone in his career and could make a good play at 3B.
OAK – This A’s offense is hot right now, but the production is coming from all over the lineup. I think they are in a good spot once again so if you think you can guess which A’s bats will do well, then go for it.

CHW vs R | CHW BvP | MIN vs L | MIN BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.0
- Favored Team – CWS -121
Pitcher Grind Down
MIN – Kevin Correia is not a great fantasy pitcher. He doesn’t get very many K’s, he usually doesn’t get a ton of run support, and he is a pretty average pitcher. Good matchup, but not a lot of upside. Avoid
CWS – Chris Sale has had an amazing season so far and has managed to keep his WHIP below 1.000. I think the matchup is a decent one, but there are certainly better matchups out there. He is a bit too expensive for me as he is only a -121 favorite, but I think he pitches well. In Play
Batter Grind Down
MIN – Sale is too good of a pitcher to risk taking batters against him.
CWS – I think Dayan Viciedo is a solid value play, but other than that I don’t really care for the White Sox tonight.

MIL vs L | MIL BvP | HOU vs R | HOU BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – MIL -111
Pitcher Grind Down
HOU – Erik Bedard has been pitching better lately. He has only allowed more than 2 earned runs once in his last 5 starts. He has pitched better at home too so I think he could be a sneaky play if you really like to take risks. The Brewers offense has disappeared. In Play
MIL – I think this is a great spot for Kyle Lohse. He has been a disappointment so far this season, but a matchup against the Astros could be just what he needs. The Astros aren’t very good against right hand pitching and they strike out more than any other team. Target
Batter Grind Down
HOU – I think we finally see a solid start from Lohse. For that reason, I will recommend staying away from the Astros bats.
MIL – Bedard has been better of late, but I think Carlos Gomez and Aramis Ramirez are both worth a look. Both are very good against lefties and have had success off of Bedard in the past.

CHC vs R | CHC BvP | STL vs R | STL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.0
- Favored Team – STL -155
Pitcher Grind Down
STL – Jake Westbrook got smoked by the Marlins in his first game back from injury, but I think this is a nice spot for him to have a bounce back game. Yes, the Cubs put up 4 runs on Wainwright, but they didn’t score after the first inning and they have not been good on the road. In Play
CHC – Edwin Jackson can get you a decent number of K’s, but his 5.40 ERA and 1.559 WHIP are not numbers that I like to see from my starting pitcher. The Cardinals are a tough tough offense and I think that Jackson is in trouble tonight. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
STL – If you are willing to spend on catcher today, Yadier Molina could be worth it. Jackson is known to give up HR’s and Molina already has 2 off of him. I also think Matt Carpenter should have a solid multi-hit game.
CHC – The Cubs haven’t had great success against Westbrook and rarely ever have great success anyway.

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | LAA vs L | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.0
- Favored Team – LAA – 200
Pitcher Grind Down
LAA – I have been all about the Mariners pitchers so far in this series and they have come through huge so far. While Blanton didn’t pick up the win thanks to Josh Hamilton 3 GDP’s, he did K a career high 11 batters. I am going to keep taking the Angels pitchers, and C.J. Wilson is the guy tonight. The Mariners have been ice cold lately and are striking out a ton. Target
SEA – Never take a pitcher that is a +200 underdog, especially when his name is Joe Saunders. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
LAA – Are the Angels bats going to let us down like they have time and time again this season? I don’t think so, the matchup is too good for them to not show up two nights in a row. All Angels bats are in play.
SEA – Nick Franklin is the only Mariner bat that I would think about tonight, the rest have been ice cold lately.
