Bengals vs. Chiefs – AFC Championship Game Player Props

Joe Burrow o275.5 passing yards (-115), PointsBet

When these two teams met in the regular season, Joe Burrow finished with 286 passing yards. In two games against the Chiefs last year, Burrow had 696 passing yards in two games, with a 6-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. On Sunday, the storyline is once again a porous offensive line that will supposedly lead to Burrow’s demise in the pocket. Yet, his ability to get the ball out of his hand quickly has largely mitigated the impact of poor pass-blocking during the second half of the campaign. In 17 regular season games, the Chiefs finished 32nd in EPA per play when they were unable to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. If Kansas City is unable to get a consistent pass-rush going in this matchup, Burrow and company could have a field day.

Patrick Mahomes o283.5 passing yards (-113), FanDuel

In the divisional round, Patrick Mahomes briefly exited the contest after suffering an ankle injury in the first half. However, he returned to the field to put the finishing touches on a 27-20 win – completing 22 of 30 pass attempts for 195 yards and two touchdowns. After a week of treatment and multiple full practice sessions, Mahomes will undoubtedly be in better shape this weekend than he was last weekend. Since Chidobe Awuzie last played a full game in Week 7, the Bengals rank 17th in dropback EPA. Assuming Mahomes does not re-aggravate the injury on Sunday, he is likely to have a great chance to hit the over on his passing yards prop.

Ja’Marr Chase o83.5 receiving yards (-120), FanDuel

As a rookie, Ja’Marr Chase eclipsed this market number in three of his four postseason games, including two games with at least 109 receiving yards. In his sophomore campaign, he hauled-in nine catches for 84 receiving yards in the wild-card round against the Baltimore Ravens and had another 61 receiving yards in a snowstorm last weekend against the Buffalo Bills. Playing in more neutral weather conditions in the AFC championship game, there is little doubt that Chase will be a focal point in the Bengals offense. In three career games against Kansas City, Chase has 417 receiving yards. Take the over here.
