Week 13 of the NFL regular season will conclude with a matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars. Though this matchup has certainly lost some of its luster with Joe Burrow on injured reserve, there is still plenty of value to be had in the player prop market for bettors who are looking to get action on the game!

Bengals vs. Jaguars NFL Player Props for MNF

Tee Higgins o3.5 Completions (-102), FanDuel

Higgins has missed each of the last 3 games, so maybe people have forgotten that this guy can play? I’m just trying to think of a reason why this market number is over/under 3.5 against a Jaguars defense that ranks 28th in dropback EPA/play and 26th in dropback success rate since their bye week. Even if we use a larger, more favorable, sample size, Jacksonville’s defense ranks 10th in dropback EPA/play and 13th in dropback success rate since Week 4 — hardly elite.

Higgins had totaled 13 receptions on 15 targets in his last 2 games prior to suffering a hamstring injury. Obviously, he will have a different quarterback upon returning to the field, but this is still a low number for a player who likely has ambitious personal goals for the remaining games in a lost season as he prepares to head into free agency this offseason. Higgins wouldn’t be on the field risking his big payday if he was not healthy. He is likely to be heavily involved in the passing attack on Monday, making this a worthwhile risk.

Tee Higgins Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+400), PointsBet

Higgins has only found pay dirt in 1 game this season, but he’s a 6’4’’ receiver who has scored at least 6 touchdowns in each of his first 3 NFL seasons. Speaking to Jay Morrison earlier this week, Higgins commented that he feels 100% healthy and that his preseason milestone goals for 2023 have not changed, despite him missing multiple games and Joe Burrow being done for the season. Heading into free agency, Higgins certainly has every incentive to find his way into the end zone a few times during the final month of the regular season. Jake Browning could do worse than throwing a jump ball to Higgins if the Bengals find themselves near the goal line on Monday.

NFL DFS Pick’em

Joe Mixon More Than 49.5 Rushing Yards, PrizePicks

Mixon had only 16 rushing yards last weekend against the Steelers, but the Bengals ran the ball only 11 times total. Often, when a team loses sight of the running game in one week, the coaching staff makes it a point of emphasis in the subsequent game, especially early in the game. Mixon is undoubtedly the lead back in the Cincinnati ground attack, which should afford him the vast majority of offensive snaps again in Week 13. This is a low number for a player who has proven himself capable of eclipsing this number and then some, with 7 games of at least 56 rushing yards in 2023.
