Best NBA Player Prop Bets for Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors - Game 3, April 20

What kind of performances can we expect on Thursday from Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Domantas Sabonis? Follow along as our NBA betting expert, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NBA prop bets for April 20 on the hardwood. Get all of Nick’s picks, including more NBA player props, at ScoresandOdds.
The Sacramento Kings won each of their two home games to open this playoff series against the Golden State Warriors, but they will have a much more difficult task at the Chase Center this evening, where the Dubs were 33-8 during the regular season. The big news ahead of tip-off in this matchup is the absence of Draymond Green, who is serving a one-game suspension after an on-court act of aggression in Game 2.
On Thursday night, the Warriors are 6-point favorites on the spread and the total is set at over/under 240 points.
For those who would prefer to attack the player prop market rather than a side or total, we have three leans below for tonight’s action!

NBA Player Props – Kings vs. Warriors, April 20, 2023
- Stephen Curry o29.5 points
- Klay Thompson o23.5 points
- Domantas Sabonis more than 19.5 points
Stephen Curry o29.5 points (-135), DraftKings
In Game 1, Stephen Curry had 30 points on 20 field goal attempts. In Game 2, Curry had 28 points on 21 field goal attempts, with his efficiency suffering against a Sacramento Kings defense that made life tough for him on the perimeter. Coming home for Game 3, Curry is trailing 0-2 in a playoff series for the first time in his Hall of Fame caliber career. As the team’s leading scorer, he will unquestionably be entrusted with an enormous workload this evening in an effort to save their season. Take the over here.
Klay Thompson o23.5 points (-104), FanDuel
Klay Thompson had 21 points in each of the first two games of this series, but he could be in for a much more impressive final line on Thursday in Game 3. At home this year, Thompson averaged 24.4 points per game on 44.7% shooting from the floor and 42.4% shooting from beyond the arc. These numbers were in stark contrast to his 19.2 points per game on the road, 42.3% shooting from floor, and 39.6% shooting from the perimeter. Playing in the comfort of his home building against a Sacramento defense that struggles mightily to defend the three-point line, expect Thompson to have a big night with the season on the line.
NBA DFS Pick’em
Domantas Sabonis more than 19.5 points, PrizePicks
Domantas Sabonis had only 12 points in the series opener against the Golden State Warriors, but he bounced back with a 24-point performance in Game 2. Tonight, he will get to face a Golden State defense that will be missing their anchor – Draymond Green. In the absence of Green, expect Sabonis to be aggressive around the rim and efficient with his opportunities. It would not be surprising in the slightest if Sabonis easily surpassed 20 points in this spot. Sabonis averaged 19.1 points per game on the road this year. A favorable matchup on Thursday should help him eclipse that number by at least one.
