This week’s rare edition of NFL Saturday Night Football will feature Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills against Easton Stick and the Los Angeles Chargers. Entering play, the Bills are 8-6 but are in need of a win to stay alive in a crowded AFC playoff picture. The Chargers are 5-9 and will be mathematically eliminated from postseason contention with a loss – a likely occurrence with them being priced as 12-point underdogs.

If looking to wager on the player prop market instead of a side or total in this game, we have three prop leans for this matchup between the Bills and Chargers!

Bills vs. Chargers NFL Player Props for Saturday, December 23

Dalton Kincaid OVER 3.5 Receptions (-105), Bet365

Dalton Kincaid ended Week 15 without a reception, but it is more than fair to call that a throwaway performance considering the game script and the adverse weather conditions. Prior to last week’s outlier showing, Kincaid had at least 5 receptions in seven consecutive games, having no fewer than 6 targets in a game during that stretch. The Chargers rank 21st in defensive DVOA against tight ends this year and have allowed at least 4 receptions to Michael Mayer, Isaiah Likely, Luke Musgrave, Sam LaPorta, Tyler Conklin, Cole Kmet, Travis Kelce, T.J. Hockenson, and Chigoziem Okonkwo in 2023. This is great value on a talented player in a favorable matchup.

Josh Palmer OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards (-115), Bet365

In his last four games played without Keenan Allen on the field, Josh Palmer has totaled 57 receiving yards, 106 receiving yards, 44 receiving yards, and 113 receiving yards. Last week, Palmer had four receptions for 113 receiving yards despite playing only 47 offensive snaps. On Saturday, Palmer should be in for an expanded role, being another week fully removed from being injured. Though Buffalo’s defense has been playing better in recent weeks, the Bills secondary unit is missing multiple key contributors, including safety Micah Hyde, cornerback Kaiir Elam, and cornerback Tre’Davious White. Palmer should be able to get free for at least a few receptions in this game, and he might benefit from softer coverage in garbage time as well. All yards count the same for betting purposes!

Stefon Diggs OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards (-120), BetMGM

Stefon Diggs is in the midst of one of the least productive stretches of his NFL career, with fewer than 50 receiving yards in four of his last five contests. However, three of those games were against formidable defenses that do a good job limiting production from the opposing team’s top wideout. Last week, Diggs had only 48 receiving yards, but his production accounted for 57.1% of Josh Allen’s total completions and 51.1% of his total passing yards. Diggs gets an extremely favorable matchup in Week 16 against an ailing Chargers defense. Do not be surprised if we see him go nuclear.
