Broncos vs. Lions NFL Player Props for Saturday, December 16

Jared Goff o255.5 Passing Yards (-110), FanDuel

On Saturday, the Lions are expected to have their starting offensive line intact for the first time since Week 12, with center Frank Ragnow and left tackle Taylor Decker coming off of full practice participation on Thursday. From Week 4 to Week 7, with both Ragnow and Decker on the field, the Lions offense ranked 7th in EPA/play and 8th in success rate. From Week 10 to Week 12, with both Ragnow and Decker on the field together, Detroit’s offense ranked 5th in EPA/play and 2nd in success rate. Playing at home with all of his protection healthy, Goff and company could be in for a big game in Week 15.

David Montgomery o0.5 Touchdowns (-125), Bet365

David Montgomery has 10 rushing touchdowns in 10 games played in 2023. Tonight, he gets to face a Broncos run defense that ranks 28th in rush success rate since Week 6. Montgomery has received at least four rush attempts in the red zone in six separate games this season and is typically the go-to guy for the Lions offense on the ground in such situations over Jahmyr Gibbs. At playable odds, this is a worthwhile wager.

Sam LaPorta o4.5 Receptions (-135), Bet365

Sam LaPorta has seen his production fall off slightly in recent weeks, but he has a great opportunity to bounce back on Saturday against a Denver defense that has been struggling to slow down tight ends of late. According to props.cash, seven of the last 10 tight ends to face the Broncos have gone over their pregame market number for receptions, and four of the last six tight ends to face Denver have totaled at least five catches. This is a great spot to invest in LaPorta.
