Buccaneers vs. Cowboys – NFL Player Props
- Mike Evans Over/Under 80.5 Receiving Yards
- Rico Dowdle Over/Under 72.5 Rushing Yards
- CeeDee Lamb Over/Under 6.5 Receptions
Mike Evans OVER 80.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)
Since returning from injury in Week 12, Mike Evans has the 4th-most “first read” targets in the entire NFL, a clear indication that the team is trying to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. Though Evans has publicly downplayed his quest for his 11th consecutive 1,000-yard season, Baker Mayfield confirmed to the media earlier this week that Evans’ historic streak is something that he is aware of, and that he is doing what he can to help him reach that milestone once again. Evans is averaging 103.5 receiving yards per game across the last 4 weeks. He has another good matchup tonight as he looks to stay hot.
Rico Dowdle UNDER 72.5 Rushing Yards (-120, BetMGM)
Rico Dowdle has been one of the league’s most productive running backs in recent weeks, with 86+ rushing yards in each of his last 4 games, including 3 consecutive games with 112+ rushing yards. Unfortunately for him, he has an extremely tough matchup tonight, facing a talented Tampa Bay run defense that ranks 2nd in EPA/play since their bye week. According to props.cash, 11 of the last 13 running backs to have a rushing line posted against the Buccaneers have gone under that number. This could be a prime regression spot for Dowdle, especially if the Cowboys find themselves in a negative game script in the second half.
CeeDee Lamb UNDER 6.5 Receptions (+110, DraftKings)
CeeDee Lamb has been the favorite target of Cooper Rush by a landslide since Rush took over as the team’s starting quarterback in Week 10. Still, Lamb has recorded 6 receptions or fewer in 2 of his last 3 games and has at times struggled to connect with Rush. Tampa Bay’s defense has done a good job defending opposing WR1 this season, ranking a respectable 17th in DVOA against the position. The Buccaneers have talented cornerbacks on the outside in Jamel Dean and Zyon McCollum, each of whom is capable of slowing down Lamb to some degree this evening. At plus money, this could be a worthwhile risk.
