Bucs vs. Chiefs – NFL Player Props

Rachaad White OVER 23.5 Receiving Yards (-118, Bally)

Since Week 3, Kansas City’s defense leads the NFL in EPA/play and success rate against opposing ground attacks. Given the Chiefs’ strong defense, coupled with the fact that Tampa Bay could be facing a negative game script, White should have plenty of opportunities through the air. Similar to last week, it would make sense for Baker Mayfield and company to emphasize the short passing game with their running backs instead of repeatedly trying to gain yardage on the ground against a strong Kansas City defensive front. The Chiefs have allowed 29+ receiving yards to a running back in 4 of their 7 games this season. This is a great spot for White in primetime.

Kareem Hunt OVER 17.5 Rush Attempts (-102, FanDuel)

Hunt isn’t lighting the world on fire, with 3 consecutive games averaging fewer than 4 yards per carry. Nonetheless, he’s been plenty effective, scoring 4 touchdowns in that span while helping keep the clock moving in short yardage situations. Since Week 5, Hunt has the 2nd-most rush attempts of any running back in the NFL, which is even more notable when considering that Kansas City had a bye week mixed in there, so Hunt has played 1 less game than most other running backs. Assuming the Chiefs are playing from in front once again, Hunt should be plenty busy on the ground as the top option in a backfield that is still painfully thin on NFL-level talent.

Jalen McMillan OVER 3.5 Receptions (+116, Bally)

McMillan had a season-high 4 receptions last weekend against the Falcons and could be in for another big workload against the Chiefs, with Chris Godwin and Mike Evans once again unavailable for the Buccaneers. McMillan led all Tampa Bay wide receivers in snaps on passing plays and routes run in Week 8 and provided a much-needed weapon further downfield for this offense. If he has another 7+ targets, this is a worthwhile risk at plus money.
