If looking to wager on the player prop market for Colts vs. Vikings, we have 3 prop leans to consider for Sunday!

Colts vs. Vikings – NFL Player Props

Jonathan Taylor OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (-120, FanDuel)

According to Ben Goessling, LB Blake Cashman will miss his 3rd consecutive game for the Vikings. Cashman is one of the league’s best run defenders, making his absence particularly notable for this Minnesota defense. Taylor returned to the field last weekend for the first time since Week 4 and received all 20 carries that went to the running back position for the Colts. This is a great price for one of the best running backs in the NFL, even against what has been a strong Vikings’ run defense overall this season.

Joe Flacco OVER 240.5 Passing Yards (-114, Bally)

Joe Flacco has only eclipsed this market number in 1 of his 3 starts this fall, but this is a great matchup for him on Sunday Night Football. Minnesota’s pass defense has struggled mightily since their bye week, allowing 280 passing yards to Jared Goff in Week 7 and 279 passing yards to Matthew Stafford in Week 8. Notably, they have allowed a 79.7% completion rate to opposing quarterbacks in that stretch. Flacco should be plenty busy this evening through the air – even more so if the Colts end up facing a negative game script. This is good value for a veteran quarterback who has played very well in his limited opportunities each of the last couple of seasons.

Michael Pittman OVER 4.5 Receptions (-154, FanDuel)

Michael Pittman has been underwhelming in many ways so far in 2024, but a lot of that has had to do with his quarterback. Pittman had 5+ receptions in 2 of Joe Flacco’s 3 starts earlier this year, but he hasn’t managed more than 4 receptions in any game with Anthony Richardson under center. As a result, we are getting an over/under 4.5 here instead of an over/under 5.5, which is likely where this number would be if Flacco had started every game to date this season. Minnesota has been torched by opposing receivers recently, making this a great matchup for Pittman, who is hoping to bounce back after only having 1 catch for 16 yards last weekend.
