DFS Rankings Recap for August: bgreseth Making a Move
This is our monthly review of the RotoGrinders DFS Rankings. We generate these standings by using game results from the top sites, such as FanDuel and DraftKings, crediting players based on their win volume. Our Overall Rankings update every Thursday morning and include data from the last 365 days.
Latest Rankings Updates
Moklovin still stands atop the Overall Rankings right now, but how about the rise of bgreseth? Grinding primarily MLB, PGA and MMA, bgreseth has led all players in August (42,303 points) and is up to 2nd in the Overall Rankings. Moklovin is still 80K+ points ahead of bgreseth, but the gap has closed by 15K this month.
Moklovin leads all players in PGA points and is slightly ahead of bgreseth in MMA, but the latter is in 1st place in the MLB Rankings. bgreseth sits just ahead of needlunchmoney and former No. 1 overall youdacao on the baseball leaderboard.
CFB points should be calculated soon, so we’ll see if that shakes up the standings.
Repeat Winner in the FanDuel Single Entry Series
It’s been quite a run for crushcoff, who took down our Single Entry Series in back-to-back weeks. A massive Sunday vaulted crushcoff to 1st place in Week 4, and a pair of 200-point days propelled him to another win in Week 5.
Crushcoff is up to No. 42 on the MLB Rankings leaderboard and No. 112 Overall, and at this rate, he’ll be a top 100 player soon.
Tournament Player of the Year Check-In
Speaking of youdacao, the 2019 Tournament Player of the Year is making a bid for his second crown. He has a healthy lead on 2021 TPY winner thewhistlesgowooo, the only other player above 100K points.
