Dominant FanDuel Single Entry Series Performance
crushcoff smashed our FanDuel Single Entry Series, taking 1st place in BOTH Week 4 and Week 5. We caught up with crushcoff for a quick interview about his process. Here are some highlights:
RotoGrinders: What does your typical DFS week look like (e.g. game selection, level of volume, etc.)?
crushcoff: If there is baseball or football going on, I am playing every day and every slate as well. These are by far my two favorite sports, but I dabble in the others when it is all I have to play. I definitely take my shots in the big tournaments hoping to get lucky, but I love the single-entry tournaments. I think these are where I have the most success. I also play a ton of head-to-heads and 50-50s.
RotoGrinders: Do you use LineupHQ when building lineups? If so, are there any particular settings or build rules that you believe have been the most effective?
crushcoff: I do use LineupHQ, and it is a lifesaver being able to build 50-150 lineups, export them, and have them all edited within minutes. The only real thing that I will mess with is the pitcher or quarterback %, so I don’t have all my eggs in the same basket. Other than that, I let THE BAT and THE BLITZ do their thing and find a lineup I like the most.
RotoGrinders: Any parting words for other Grinders striving to match your success?
crushcoff: I would just say to keep on grinding. Find your process and stick to it, no matter what, because there will always be variance, and the best player in the world will go 0-4 some nights in the best spots. Have fun with it and enjoy the wins!
