Week 15
What is your favorite correlation of the week and why?
STLCardinals84: Leonard Fournette and the Jaguars defense – I wanted to mention the Patriots here, but you will get a good share of that with my other answers. As such, I shall mention that the Fournette/Jags defense combination is a fine way to go this week. The Texans’ only way of moving the ball seems to be via throwing it to DeAndre Hopkins, and he will have a tough time with the Jacksonville secondary. T.J. Yates throwing to him doesn’t help, and it won’t be as easy as it was last week against the 49ers. Fournette tends to get more carries in games where the Jaguars get a big lead, and that is much more likely in this game.
JMToWin: Ben Roethlisberger and Le’Veon Bell – While pairing Ben with his running back is less conventional than pairing him with his wide receivers, there are only 18 receivers in the NFL with more targets per game than Bell, and he is taking on a New England offense that has allowed the third-most receiving yards to running backs. It will be tough to afford AB and Bell together this week, but pairing Bell and Ben gives you exposure to the passing attack as well.
