THE CORE
1) James Harden, PG/SG, Houston Rockets – $23,300
I’m sorry, but this price tag is just way too cheap for Harden on FantasyDraft. I could talk until I am blue in the face as to why he is such a good cash game play at this price tag, but I am sure most of you know my thoughts on that by now. As long as Chris Paul is out and Harden is in this price range, he will almost always be in this article. The minutes, usage rate, and assist rate just make him too safe for $23,300.
The one ding on him here is the game environment, as this game currently has the third lowest over/under on the slate at 211. However, the spread is very tight (Houston favored by three points), which should theoretically lock in Harden for somewhere between 36-39 minutes. And the scoring system on FantasyDraft makes him an even better play than on a site like FanDuel. Sign me up.
