Primetime Parlay: Giants vs. Bills Same Game Parlay Picks

Last year, ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool helped create a variety of fun same-game parlay tickets throughout the NFL season. Through thousands of simulations, the tool examines the potential value various betting lines offer on sports betting sites. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a same-game parlay for the New York Giants versus the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.

When the NFL produced this season’s schedule, hopes were certainly higher for Sunday Night Football in Week 6. The Giants, coming off a great season, would be a great foil for another playoff contender in the Bills. Brian Daboll to coach against his former team. The storylines wrote themselves.

Well, unfortunately, Daniel Jones is hurt. The Giants are hapless. The Bills are massive favorites and this football game looks like a potential snoozer. So what do we do? You guessed it. Let’s build a parlay ticket to sweat while watching this likely lopsided affair. We will start with betting odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, injuries, and statistics before booking a ticket with the help of ParlayIQ.

Giants vs. Bills Same Game Parlay

Hammer versus nail. The hammer is favored by 15.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook. Obviously, when Daniel Jones was ruled out, the line climbed by three points. The Giants were already massive underdogs. Now the sports betting world must decide if Tyrod Taylor can keep this game within reason.

Per SAO, 70% of tickets were printed for the Bills while 70% of the betting handle rests with the Giants. I don’t get it. While 15.5 points is a lot, how are the Giants going to move the ball forward? The Giants will be without Jones and left tackle Andrew Thomas. Saquon Barkley and Darren Waller are questionable for the contest. Wan’Dale Robinson was removed from the injury report and will be available to catch whatever dinks are thrown his way.

For the Bills, the tight end position could be thin. Dawson Knox is questionable with a wrist injury while Dalton Kincaid is questionable with a concussion. The Bills have Super Bowl hopes but took three massive hits over the last two weeks. Tre’Davious White, Matt Milano, and DaQuan Jones are all out after season-ending surgeries for the Bills’ defense. The Buffalo defense has been pretty good this season but will look to find key replacements at all three levels. Josh Norman was signed this week.

Despite the injuries on defense, Josh Allen continues to shine as the Bills’ signal caller. The dynamic quarterback continues to impress in the passing game while learning to protect himself in the rushing game. Allen will be prudent — especially in this game — to keep himself upright for the Bills. The Bills are third in yards per play, third in scoring, and third in yards per pass attempt. All of that disintegrates without Allen, and the Bills cannot take the pedal off the gas. Miami leads the league in all three of the aforementioned statistical categories.

The Giants were a disaster before Daniel Jones hurt his neck. Big Blue — by name only — was 31st in scoring, 32nd in yards per play, and 28th in yards per pass attempt. Without Jones, who knows what the Giants will do? My guess is not score many points.

This game looks like a dud on paper. Let’s make it interesting. Let’s see if the thousands of simulations of this contest yield some props for the picking. Let’s take a look at our ticket for this game.

Same Game Parlay Picks for SNF

Josh Allen Under 28.5 Rushing Yards

The Bills should have no reason to design a run for Josh Allen on Sunday night. This would be malpractice. In a game where the Bills all but have a victory locked up just by getting off the bus, Josh Allen should be taking the minimal number of hits.

Anything can happen in the NFL. Against a defense this bad, I would assume Josh Allen is going to put points on the board with his arm. Stefon Diggs continues to catch fire while Gabe Davis has been resuscitated in the passing game. The Giants will likely allow a bunch of scores without Allen needing to break a sweat.

So don’t let him. ParlayIQ thinks Allen stays under this number to the tune of 52% of simulations. This is the smallest percentage prop we are taking, but Josh Allen deserves top billing. Let’s see what is next.

James Cook Over 15.5 Receiving Yards

James Cook started the season off in good form for fantasy players — receiving plenty of carries and targets. While the touchdown numbers are a bit disappointing, we should have expected this from a running back on a team with Josh Allen at quarterback. Allen is always going to vulture work from the running backs. Cook must also fend off Damien Harris and Latavius Murray for opportunities.

With that said, the Giants are a get-right spot for the young back. ParlayIQ seems to love running back receiving prop overs more than anything. Given our recent success rate — or lack thereof — I am going to try this out one more time.

Cook should play most of this game and receive targets on third down. Let’s close this ticket out for the night.

Wan’Dale Robinson Over 27.5 Receiving Yards

Wan’Dale Robinson is good to go for Sunday night and might be the only possession receiver available. Darren Waller and Saquon Barkley sitting this game out leaves Tyrod Taylor with very few options for the short passing game. Robinson will be targeted heavily on quick routes.

He might need ten catches to exceed this number, but ParlayIQ rates this the top prop of our trio. While the Giants are going to struggle, somebody has to catch a football occasionally. My bet is on Robinson tonight.
