Wednesday, November 15th
Hey Everybody, and welcome to the Wednesday edition of Core Plays. Pepsi is visiting RG headquarters in Nashville, so I’m filling in for this three game slate. A solid small slate, so let’s dive right in.
Goaltender

John Gibson, Anaheim Ducks
On a three game slate, you can often come across situations where there isn’t anything to love in net. Tonight, though there isn’t anything to adore, Gibson comes out looking like your top goalie for the night. The Boston Bruins are going to be without Brad Marchand, leaving them with a forward corps that is essentially Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, and a bunch of AHLers. If the Ducks can lock down the big two, the rest of that lineup doesn’t scare me away from Gibson.
