Jets vs. Browns NFL Player Props for Thursday Night Football

Joe Flacco UNDER 233.5 Passing Yards (-110), FanDuel

Joe Flacco has at least 254 passing yards in each of his four games with the Browns this season, but tonight will be his toughest test to date, by far. The Rams, Jaguars, and Texans each rank 18th or worse in defensive DVOA across the last four weeks, and the game script Flacco had against the Bears forced him to throw the ball 44 times due to the team trailing for most of the afternoon. On Thursday, head coach Kevin Stefanski will likely try to keep Flacco under 40 attempts for the first time this month, facing the league’s best secondary unit. According to props.cash, 7 of the last 8 quarterbacks to face the Jets have gone under their pregame market number. Flacco is likely to continue that trend in Week 17.

Garrett Wilson UNDER 51.5 Receiving Yards (-110), FanDuel

Entering play in Week 17, Garrett Wilson has posted fewer than 51 receiving yards in four of his last six games, with the two exceptions coming against the Commanders and Texans. The Commanders rank 32nd in DVOA against the opposing team’s top wideout in 2023, and the Texans are only marginally better – ranking 25th. In stark contrast, the Browns have been the toughest defense in the entire NFL this year against top receiving options, and it has not been particularly close. Cleveland has held DJ Moore to 52 receiving yards and Calvin Ridley to 53 receiving yards each of the last two weeks, and both of those receivers at least had a starting-caliber quarterback throwing them the football. Wilson is likely to have a difficult time finding success on Thursday with Trevor Siemian, New York’s 4th-string signal caller, running the offense.

Breece Hall OVER 3.5 Receptions (-155), Bet365

Breece Hall has collected at least 4 receptions in eight of his last 10 games, with the two exceptions being a 3-reception performance against the Raiders and a 1-reception showing against the Dolphins two weeks ago when the Jets scored zero points. Hall has been targeted repeatedly this fall, including 16 targets in Week 16 and at least 8 targets in three of four games prior to facing the Dolphins. The Browns rank 7th in defensive DVOA against running backs this year, but they still allowed 4 receptions to Roschon Johnson in Week 15 and 4 receptions to Travis Etienne in Week 14. Hall should be good for at least 4 receptions this evening.
