As we head into the weekend, the National Hockey League presents us with a five-game slate. The Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks are your biggest favorites, and we have four teams (Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs and the San Jose Sharks) playing on consecutive nights.

Kari Lehtonen, Dallas Stars – It is not a great night for goalies, and we really don’t have one that I trust 100%. With that being said, I will probably roll with Kari Lehtonen in cash games. The Dallas Stars netminder is not only inexpensive, he should also cruise to a victory. The New Jersey Devils are playing their second game in as many nights, and they will be without their best player in Taylor Hall. The Devils have struggled to score goals lately and I expect more of the same tonight. Lehtonen may not see a ton of shots, but the win is a lock, and I can’t see him allowing more than two goals. If you are not confident rostering Lehtonen, Scott Darling would be next in line.
