Wow, things can change a lot in a day. We went from one of the weakest pitching slates of the season to a massive ace-loaded slate tonight. Not only do we have a full complement of expensive pitchers, we also have the Red Sox visiting Coors Field headlining the hitting slate. I’ll give it the old college try to separate these pitchers, but you can go a lot of different ways tonight without doing anything wrong.
Tuesday Night Pitching
We’ve got nine pitchers on this slate who come in at 28% strikeouts or better and not a single one of them is above a 10% walk rate. These are all pitchers with big upside and come with varying degrees of matchup difficulty. All of these pitchers are tournament playable if you are spreading out, and the lines between most of them are thin and blurry. Who doesn’t love a thin, blurry line!
