Even with only five games on the Main Slate tonight, there’s a nice mix of pitchers and hitters with a few reasonable options in different pricing tiers. I’m going to go game-by-game through this slate, and I’ll list out my preferred play from each game for both cash games and tournaments. We start with a potential pitching duel in Philadelphia.
Pirates at Phillies – Jameson Taillon at Jake Arrieta
Taillon’s early season strikeout surge predictably slowed down in his last start, but even with only two strikeouts in six innings, he managed to shutdown Miami, and he has now allowed just two runs in 20 innings this season.
