Wednesday, June 5th
Last night was a whole other level of weird. The Marlins were just the tip of the iceberg on a night that saw 10 different teams score 9 or more runs. I’ve been saying it and I’ll keep saying it, my opinion is that as we get into this summer, the already high run scoring environment is going to continue to get goofier and goofier. A couple quick Deep Thoughts With Cheese to kick off the morning:
I am expecting the general consensus to begin to shift even more towards paying down at pitcher. Every time we see an ace get hit around, people will continue to lose faith in these top pitchers. However, we’re missing two huge pieces of the picture by making that generalization.
