Minnesota
- Liam Hendriks is one of my favorite names to see when scrolling through the available pitchers. Not because I like to take him, but because I love to take hitters against him. He has a high ERA and gives up HR’s.
- Joe Mauer is the BvP King. It seems like he has good numbers against everyone. Today it’s against Davis, he is 4/5 with 2 doubles in his career against him. Also liking Ryan Doumit.
Kansas City
- Wade Davis is another average pitcher taking the mound. It seems like there are quite a few of those today. None of his stuff wows you and the Twins offense isn’t bad.
- The Royals have found their rhythm offensively and there are quite a few good plays for their hitters today. Mike Moustakas is 5/6, Billy Butler is 5/9, and Salvador Perez is 4/7 against Hendriks. Throw in a hot Alex Gordon and you have yourself a nice little mini stack.

Pittsburgh
- Jonathan Sanchez just isn’t the same pitcher that he used to be and a matchup against the D-Backs in Arizona is going to help his cause. Expect him to get lit up.
- Andrew McCutchen should be the only guy that you are considering on the Pirates. Miley is a very good young pitcher, but I think Cutch can find some gaps. Cutch is great against lefties.
Arizona
- Wade Miley was very solid at home last season with an ERA of under 3. That’s impressive considering that he pitches in Arizona. He has a great matchup against the Pirates today and should get an easy win with plenty of run support. Not a bad option.
- Love the D-Back hitters today. As always, Paul Goldscmidt is a great play against lefties. Get this he has 2 at bats against Sanchez in his career. One HR and the other one he got a walk and stole a base. STOLE A BASE! I also like Aaron Hill tonight and Martin Prado will be a good sleeper pick that not many people take.

Oakland
- Tommy Milone is a much different pitcher on the road than he is at home. Last season, his road ERA was almost double that of the one he had at home. I like the Angels batters in this one.
- Not much BvP stats to go off of here, but the A’s bats have been pretty hot lately. Personally I think Blanton finds a way to cool them off tonight, but if you like the matchup, take some A’s.
LA Angels
- Joe Blanton gets the start tonight and if C.J. Wilson can’t pitch a good game against the A’s, how on earth is Joe Blanton going to do so? Call me crazy, but I think he gets it done tonight.
- Gotta love the matchup for these Angels bats. Albert Pujols has great numbers against Milone going 4/8 with all 4 hits being doubles. Mike Trout seems to be finding his swing and is a great play. To be honest, I am going to keep taking Trout until his price rises, that’s how good he is. Howard Kendrick is another guy that is good against lefties.

LA Dodgers
- Chad Billingsley makes his 2013 debut tonight against the Padres and he couldn’t have asked for a better matchup. Billingsley is coming off of an injury though and you never know what to expect performance wise in these situations. That and the fact that he will likely be on somewhat of a pitch count limit makes me a little weary of taking him today.
- The Dodgers hitters haven’t seen much of Stults and in a pitcher’s park, I never really love taking any hitters.
San Diego
- Eric Stults was pretty solid for the Padres last season and isn’t a terrible option today against the Dodgers. While he isn’t my favorite option, any pitcher in Petco isn’t a terrible option.
- A healthy Billingsley isn’t a great matchup for the Padres, but one that is making his first start after a torn UCL is a different story. Hard to know what to expect, but a couple of Padres hitters in a GPP isn’t a terrible idea.

Houston
- Brad Peacock isn’t a guy that I am looking too seriously at tonight. He is on the road and pitches for a bad team.
- The Astros offense went absolutely nuts last night against one of my favorite pitchers of the day. I think they have a hard time backing up that kind of performance and fall back into their very quiet offense.
Seattle
- OK, after Brandon Maurer got absolutely crushed last night, I am a little nervous about take Blake Beavan tonight. But in baseball, you have to forget about what happened the day before and make the decision based on the facts today. And the facts are that Beavan has a great matchup against the Astros. Hate for it to happen again, but get him in your lineup!
- Morse continues his hot streak and is worth a shot tonight in a few leagues. Outside of him though, I’m not liking too many Mariners. This should be the exact opposite of the game we saw last night.
