Pitchers
- Vegas has the OU line at 8.5 and ARI the small favorite at -119. Ian Kennedy takes the hill facing a LAD team batting .226 vs. him. His home ERA was a 4.01 a year ago and he faces a tough matchup tonight. Avoid
- Hyun-Jin Ryu seemed to correct the control issues he had in his first start in his second one. I am not sure which Ryu to expect in this game. I do not trust the lefty to pitch well in this park. He has great upside but he has not shown us enough yet. Avoid
Batters
- Paul Goldschmidt kills left-handers. Get him in. Gererdo Parra, Martin Prado and Aaron Hill have all been producing so sprinkle them in also.
- Adrian Gonzalez has been hot and he is 2-6 vs. Kennedy. I like the dodgers to produce tonight so take their hot bats Carl Crawford and Mark Ellis with him. I keep waiting for Matt Kemp to arrive. He is worth a gamble in this park.

Pitchers
- The OU line for this game is a low 7.5 with COL favored at -113. SD was the slight favorite when the line opened. Jhoulys Chacin brings his stellar 2.72 road ERA into this game vs. a SD team that is batting .239 on the season and only .192 vs. him. He has pitch well in his first two starts and could make a nice play as a second starter. Target
- You would think “Edinson Volquez(player-profile)”:/players/Edinson_Volquez-10913’s numbers would go up in a Padres’ uniform. After two starts, his ERA is a 10.00. Both of those two starts were on the road, though, and he gets his first chance to pitch in spacious PETCO Park. The Rockies are completely different team on the road batting only .241 last year. Target
Batters
- Carlos Gonzalez has a .467 BAA vs. Volquez. Will Rosario is also 3-10 with an HR. Josh Rutledge and Dexter Fowler have positive BvPs also. Michael Cuddyer has been hot and draws a righty tonight
- Yonder Alonso is cheap and producing well for the Padres. I like him as a value play. He worked out well for me last night.

HOU BvP | HOU vs R | LAA BvP | LAA vs R

Pitchers
- LAA is the heavy favorite tonight with the line set at 8.5. Garrett Richards faces a scrappy Astros team that has been producing as of late. Still, they have 108 Ks on the young season so Richards gets a bump in value tonight to his low K/9 of 5.96 a year ago. He is moving from the pen into the rotation. If he goes 5 IP then he should produce for his price. Target
- After a nice first outing, Lucas Harell got shelled in his second start. He road ERA was a 4.78 a year ago and he faces an under-producing but deadly LAA lineup. His K/9 ratio is under 6 so there is not much upside in playing him. Avoid
Batters
- Albert Pujols is off to another strong season. I like him tonight. Josh Hamilton seems to be settling in also. He is striking out less and I think he gets it going against the right-hander. If his price is low then take him.
- Over the last 4 games, the Astros have raised their team average by 70 points. They now have three guys batting over .300 in Jose Altuve, Justin Maxwell, and Marwin Gonzalez. Chris Carter has 3 HRs. They are hot and facing a RP. I like to ride hot streaks.
Texas at Seattle

| ROAD | 32 IP, 3.38 ERA, 0.193 BAA, 9 K/9 | HOME | 83.1 IP, 5.62 ERA, 0.325 BAA, 6.2 K/9 | ||||
| BATTER SPLITS BREAKDOWN | |||||||
TEX BvP | TEX vs L | SEA BvP | SEA vs R
| Note: Batter Splits Above Open in Pop Up Window | |||||||
Pitchers
- The line for this game is a very low 7 with TEX the favored at -140. After recording 10 Ks vs. the Astros, Alexi Ogando totals went down to the more reasonable to expect number of 2 in his last game. He has given up only 1 ER so far and faces a very weak hitting SEA team only betting .221 on the season and .220 vs. him. He is in play as a second starter. Target
- Joe Saunders is another pitcher who had a great start vs. the Astros. His first start in OAK did not go so well. He draws a TEX team batting .263 on the season and .333 vs. him. His K/9 is under 6 and the Rangers order is that the Astros. Avoid
Batters
- If Geovany Soto gets the start his BvPs vs. Saunders are pretty good. Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler both have a BAA of over .400 vs. him. Adrian Beltre numbers also look nice. The Rangers hottest hitters have been their lefties. Still, I like the switch-hitting Lance Berkman
- The big Left-hander, Justin Smoak is 5-12 vs. Ogando. Nice value play. Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse have been the Mariners’ best hitters but neither are batting over .300
