Pitchers
- Home Kevin Correia has pitched surprisingly well for MIN giving up only 5 ER over 14.1 IP. He has only 3 Ks, though and has never been very good in that department. He faces a tough opponent today in LAA batting .268 on the season. There is not enough upside for the risk. Avoid
- Away Joe Blanton has not adjusted to the American League very well. He was shelled in his first two outings. He has only 4 Ks on the season. He faces a MIN team that is also struggling batting .219 on the season and .228 vs. him. Their best two hitters though have great numbers versus him. Avoid
Batters
- Home The only two Twins batting decently right now are Justin Morneau and Joe Mauer. Both have positive BvPs today versus a struggling right-hander. Blanton got roughed up by the Astros in his last start so this may be a game in which you can consider everyone from MIN to be in play.
- Away Albert Pujols is 6-18 vs. Correia. LAA as a team is heating up. Josh Hamilton and Mike Trout batted very well vs. Right-handers last year. Both are rounding back into form.

- OU 10
- Favored COL -122
Pitchers
- Home Juan Nicasio ’s first two starts were not great and they were on the road. He should get crushed tonight against a hot Mets team batting .272 on the season. Avoid
- Away Dillon Gee got crushed by the Phillies in his last start. His away ERA was a little better on the road last year and he pitched well in his one start in Coors Field a year ago. It would be crazy to take him today vs. a COL team batting .309 at home. Avoid
Batters
- Home Dexter Fowler has been the Rockies hottest player. I like Carlos Gonzalez vs. the righty and Troy Tulowitzki sports a .667 BAA vs. him in 3 AB.
- Away The COL effect makes all of the Mets playable today. The hot Left-handers, Daniel Murphy and Lucas Duda look really tasty tonight. John Buck is always playable until he cools off.

- Favored OAK -176
Pitchers
- Home The Angels got to Tommy Milone in has last start but he has looked sharp to start the season. His home ERA was a 2.74 a year ago and his average K/9 in the 6s should get a boost versus the Astros who have 121 Ks on the year. They are batting a surprising .254 this season. Target
- Away Eric Bedard did not even go 5 IP in his first start in a game that he had only surrendered 1 hit. If he not going to get you 5 IP then you cannot play him Avoid
Batters
- Home I am not sure that a team that is going to be without their best hitter is in a good spot to produce a ton of runs versus a very crafty left-hander. A hot Jedd Lowrie could be a solid play but the OU of this game is 7 so do not expect too much.
- Away If you take out that one game versus SEA that they exploded then the Astros are producing the lowest amount of runs scored per game. They have a couple of good young players but I think they are priced higher than their value. Chris Carter is the only guy I would recommend and only as a sleeper. He has 4 HR on the year and is very cheap.

Pitchers
- Home Chad Billingsley just held this same SD team to 1 ER in 6 IP with 3 Ks on their home field. He gets them at home this time where he was a 4.32 pitcher. After struggling early on, SD has starter to produce and their season average is now .233. They sport a .222 BAA vs. him. You have to think Chad gets more Ks this time around. Target
- Away Eric Stults was the man Billingsley got the win against. Stults is capable of good starts and his K/9 is up from a year ago. He was a much better pitcher on the road last year with a 2.54 ERA and prior to that last start he held the dodgers to some pretty good BvPs. After recording 8 hits they are now batting .346 vs. him and .261 on the season. He has a chance to pitch well at a discount. In Play
Batters
- Home Carl Crawford took Stults yard in that last outing. He had 2 XBHs. After the bad start, everyone has great BvPs versus him. I am not sure I would put too much stock in that though. A.J. Ellis also took him deep. Matt Kemp gets a lefty today. His price is starting to drop.
- Away If I was going to take anyone from SD it would be Yonder Alonso or Nick Hudley who sports some decent BvPs vs. Billingsley. Carlos Quentin is 2-6 vs. him also ad his average is climbing.
