MLB DFS Lineup Advice Today
Wednesday night brings a 5-game slate on FanDuel and a 6-game slate on DraftKings (including Game 2 of the ATL/STL doubleheader), with both slates starting at 7:10 PM ET. The slate is notably short on pitching options, with no pitcher on the slate holding a strikeout prop over 5.5. There are some weather concerns as well, which are more likely to impact pitchers. You can make an argument for any stack, but some options are still rising to the top.
Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

Friday night has a large 13-game slate on both FanDuel and DraftKings starting at 7:05 PM ET. This is one of the most uniquely conflicting slates I’ve seen, with some of the top offenses and sluggers in baseball (Dodgers, Yankees) going up against unexciting but effective pitchers in good pitching parks. We also have some of the pitchers with the worst numbers on the slate facing some of the league’s worst offenses.
Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

Top Stacks
Overall Stack: Kansas City Royals
Implied Run Total: 4.75 (4th)
Projected Total Ownership: 40% (FD) / 45% (DK)
The Royals are my favorite stack. They have high upside against Triston McKenzie. There were reports earlier this season that McKenzie was dealing with a serious arm injury, but he was surprisingly effective in the first 2 months of the season. That effectiveness has been decreasing in June, and McKenzie has allowed a .627 SLG% and .432 wOBA over his 4 starts this month. Now he has to face the Royals – a team with the 10th-highest ISO vs. RHP this year – in Kansas City, which has the 3rd-best park factor for hitters according to MLB.
My top bat for the Royals is Bobby Witt, who has a .230 ISO and .387 wOBA vs. RHP this season and 21 SBs overall. Salvador Perez has a .195 ISO and .352 wOBA vs. RHP this season, and Vinnie Pasquantino (.191), Michael Massey (.212), and MJ Melendez (.216) all have ISOs greater than .190 vs. RHP this year.
