MLB DFS Lineup Advice Today

We have a 10-game slate on Tuesday night and a few extra minutes to set our lineups, with WSH/ATL as the first game on the slate starting at 7:20 PM ET. We have a handful of offenses in very good spots that separate from the rest, but as always, we’ll have to balance spending up for those hitters with how much we’re able to pay for our pitching. Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

The Yankees have the 3rd-highest implied run total, but they have some of the best power numbers on the slate, as well as the hottest hitter in baseball. They’ll also have the guaranteed 9th-inning plate appearances that come with being the road team while also hitting in a park (Angel Stadium) that MLB park factors has ranked as a better park for runs than Yankee Stadium (although slightly worse for HRs).

Griffin Canning is starting for the Angels, and he has had particular trouble with lefties this season, allowing a .561 SLG% and .399 wOBA. That could be trouble against Juan Soto, who has a .592 SLG% and .432 wOBA against RHP this season. Aaron Judge will be hitting right behind Soto, and he has been the best hitter in baseball over the past month. In April, Judge was booed in Yankee Stadium on his own bobblehead night and finished the month with a .414 SLG% and .332 wOBA. In May, Judge has a .938 SLG%, .580 wOBA, and 11 HRs in 81 at-bats.
