The Red Sox have won 8 of their last 10 games and are getting things done in multiple ways on offense recently, ranking 5th in the majors in wOBA and 3rd in SBs over the past 30 days. Boston has a slate-high 5.24 implied run total, facing Toronto righty Yariel Rodriguez who returned from the Injured List last week and was able to last only 1.1 IP against Cleveland, allowing 4 ERs. There’s a chance that Rodriguez just isn’t all the way back yet, and this is a tough spot against an offense that is hitting well in their home ballpark that ranks second only to Coors Field for hitters over the past 3 seasons, according to MLB Park Factors.
Rafael Devers is my top bat for Boston, with a .642 SLG% vs. RHP this season and a .625 SLG% in the month of June. Devers will likely see less pOWN% than he should in this spot, with Royce Lewis like to draw some interest and Vladimir Guerrero 3B-eligible on FanDuel as well. Jarren Duran is another good option for Boston, leading off with a .376 wOBA vs. RHP since the start of last season.
