MLB DFS Multi Entry Strategy: Wednesday, May 29th
MLB DFS tournament play is unlike that of any other sport. Predicting outcomes with precision is difficult, and player variance is near its peak. There are special considerations when constructing lineups in order for you to find success in the long term. Each weekday, our DFS analysts will examine a specific tournament format and help you understand the application of strategy, via concepts such as pitcher pairings, roster construction, stacking, leverage, ownership, variance, and more.

Pitching Texture
Wednesday’s 9-game main slate is likely to see ownership heavily concentrated at the pitching position. Blake Snell (39% DK; 20% FD) is the slate’s clear cut top option and Pablo Lopez (25% DK; 14% FD) appears to be the de facto SP2 on multi-starting pitcher sites due to price tag and matchup. While the Snell/Lopez combo is my favorite for cash games and single-entry tournaments it makes sense to short one or both guys in multi-entry tournaments as a way to gain some leverage on the field if the chalk busts.
