CheeseIsGood: Things are spread out evenly enough, especially on the pitching side, that I prefer MME tonight. I can’t narrow things down to a couple of best combos, and I want to make sure I have my top 5-6 stacks with different pitching combinations mixed in. I will be pretty heavy on the Orioles, Mets, and Braves, while also getting well above the field on the Giants.
stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on a 3-entry max contest tonight. I can narrow my pitching pool down to 3 or 4 guys I like, and there are 3 or 4 main teams I want to stack. On these types of slates, I like to focus on condensing down my lineups. I want to be overweight on Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Logan Webb, Drew Rasmussen, and Carlos Rodon. As far as the bats, I’m going to be focusing on Baltimore, the New York Mets, the Red Sox, and the Giants.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Most of the high-priced pitchers draw tough enough matchups that I don’t expect any slate-breaking performances. I instead prefer to save some salary at pitcher with guys like Bowden Francis, Drew Rasmussen, and Jacob deGrom. This will allow me to load up on offense, where I’ll be targeting Boston, Baltimore, and Mets as my favorite stacks.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. It is a big enough slate where I’m not overly concerned with pOWN%. This means I won’t stray too far away from Baltimore, New York Mets, and Boston in small contests, with the Astros being my most ambitious potential stack. More than most, I’m willing to stray from the standard 5-3 / 4-4 stacks, as I’m open to 3-3-1-1 / 4-2-1-1 iterations tonight. If the game plays at Coors Field, I’m more interested in MacKenzie Gore than anything else.
