Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: On a big slate like this, with so many offenses bunched up after Seattle, I prefer playing smaller-field contests where you don’t have to get everything right. I can make a case for something like 10-12 offenses for 2nd place on this slate, and I don’t want to just throw darts at all of them. In smaller-field contests, I can be different at pitcher and still play the Mariners, or shift to my next couple of favorites, like the Dodgers and Brewers, without any ownership concerns. I am going to be under the field on Dylan Cease and Tyler Glasnow, though I certainly still like them. My preference is to start with Cade Cavalli and a cheaper SP2.

ebeimfohr: I’m actually going to be a little light on the chalkier pitching at the top tonight, at least on Dylan Cease, which generally leads to happily stacking up the Mariners in Coors, to which I’m, of course, not opposed. But there are several awesome hitting spots that are going to be low-owned because of the Mariners, and I want to attack those as well. So on FD, I’m likely getting off the beaten path pretty much everywhere, and on DK, I’m a little more likely to have Tyler Glasnow in my lineup next to Cade Cavalli, given the low pOWN% of some of my favorite bats.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Outside of the Mariners in Coors Field, there’s not a lot to love offensively. With solid pitching up top, my preference is to pay up for pitching, with Dylan Cease and Cade Cavalli as my top options. I won’t completely write off Tyler Glasnow, but he hasn’t been great since returning from injury, and I question his pitch count. Seattle is my top offense, but I will likely spread out my exposure to Cleveland, Minnesota, and the White Sox as well.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I expect to have at least one of Tyler Glasnow, Dylan Cease, or Cade Cavalli in every lineup I make. If I think my lineup is looking a little too chalky, I’ll prioritize Cavalli, who is projected to be less popular than the other two big arms on the slate. If salary is tight, Connor Prielipp and Ian Seymour are my favorite cheap SPs on DK. Officially, I’m going back and forth on Seattle. My best guess is that I will have some Mariners, but not a full stack in my main lineup. The rest of my roster will likely be filled out with some combination of the Dodgers, Twins, and White Sox.
