Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: This is an unusual slate in how tangled the pitching options are, leaving us with a very obvious and more concentrated group of top offenses. I don’t have enough conviction on these pitchers to be able to narrow it down to a primary lineup, so my lean is to go more with an MME build where I can stack all those top offenses with multiple different combinations of pitchers. I am not going to shy away from the Houston chalk, but I’m equally as interested in the White Sox, and then it will just be an array of Dodgers, Braves, and maybe some Blue Jays and Brewers to round things out.

ebeimfohr: This slate is completely loaded at pitcher, which in turn gives us very few “bad” pitchers to attack with bats. Naturally, that will give us some extremely strong pitching options that come in at lower ownership but far fewer high-upside stacks in good matchups that are under-owned. So, I will be leaning into some of these chalkier stacks (e.g. Dodgers) but gravitating to some arms who are projecting for lower ownership. As great as Tarik Skubal and Gavin Williams are, there are a myriad of other strong pitching options, both talent-wise and matchup-wise.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – I plan to build around the White Sox and Astros in their respective matchups while spreading my exposure among pitchers. Tarik Skubal has the best matchup, but he’s expensive. Since I have little interest in anyone cheaper than Bryce Miller, I won’t force Skubal into my lineups. I prefer mixing and matching options like Reid Detmers and Hunter Brown to create more balanced lineups.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I like Tarik Skubal, but all things considered, I have the fully motivated Gavin Williams and Hunter Brown ahead of him. A lot can change before lock, but I expect those two to be my most-rostered SPs and the likely pairing in my main DK lineup. I know I’m supposed to get away from the Astros and White Sox, but I’m going to have a hard time doing that. I’m more likely to add a third team through a mini stack or a one-off, such as Corey Seager or Kazuma Okamoto, moving away from traditional 4-4 or 5-3 stacks.
