MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, April 22

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

squirrelpatrol: Fernando Tatis
headChopper: Fernando Tatis
ebeimfohr: Fernando Tatis

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

squirrelpatrol: I often aim to be under the field on chalky Coors Field stacks, but I won’t be tonight. The Padres profile as the best offense on the slate by a wider margin than the road team in Coors Field usually does, so the ownership there will be justified. I’ll aim to differentiate with my secondary stacks and by going different at pitcher.

headChopper: With the depth of quality, but not great, pitching on this slate, I will probably go overweight on the chalky San Diego stack. I’ll stack them with guys in the lower part of the order to get slightly different. There are only about 2 pitchers I see right now worthy of being removed from my player pool, so I’ll have different combinations of pitchers with my stacks.

ebeimfohr: Two big keys for me today: being willing to get off the beaten path at pitcher and finding secondary stacks or one-offs that create ownership leverage. There are plenty of attackable pitchers on the slate, even some who will be popular themselves. Utilizing these leverage plays and lesser-owned pitchers can allow us to still roster a high-upside Padres team in Coors Field.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
