Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
headChopper: Shohei Ohtani

Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
headChopper: Zach Neto – Neto is one of the truly rising star offensive shortstops in the game. Armed with a 4.7 implied run total, the Angels are facing a left-handed starter and then a poor bullpen. Since the start of last season and covering over 140 plate appearances, Neto has a superb .240 ISO vs. LHP. I love stacking the top 4 Angels, and Neto is the ringleader.
ebeimfohr: Jazz Chisholm Jr. – There’s a lot of bad MLB weather around the slate, so we may have very few hitting options to choose from. That makes Jazz an even stronger target. He got off to a sluggish start, so we are getting a huge discount on him for his talent/fantasy upside, but he’s bounced back in recent games, and he fills a rough 2B position. He also draws a sneaky favorable matchup with Jack Leiter, who has struggled mightily in a small sample against lefties in 2026.
boggslite: Shohei Ohtani – He’s coming off his best game of the season yesterday, reaching base in all four plate appearances with a jack and a bag. Things get even easier for Ohtani, facing a struggling righty in Chris Paddack, who is no stranger to coughing up home runs.
