MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, August 26
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
SquirrelPatrol: Aaron Judge (FD) / Jesus Sanchez (DK)
headChopper: Aaron Judge (FD) / Jake Burger (DK)
ebeimfohr: Xavier Edwards
TheLuuch: Aaron Judge (FD) / Jake Burger (DK)
Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
SquirrelPatrol: Aaron Judge (FD) / Luis Robert (DK) – On FanDuel, Aaron Judge is the top hitter without much explanation needed. On DraftKings, where Judge isn’t available, Luis Robert will see lower pOWN% than he should due to playing for the 100-losses-already White Sox. Robert is facing a pitcher with shaky minor league stats who is making his MLB debut, and Robert is showing signs of life with a .407 wOBA and 3 SBs over the past 2 weeks.
headChopper: Jesus Sanchez – The tangible stats are there: a .191 ISO vs. righties this season, .211 last season, and Feltner has only a 19% strikeout rate vs. lefties and a .190 ISO. That’s all solid, but I’m also going with my eye test here. When Sanchez connects with a pitch, there’s electricity in his bat. I’m intrigued by what he could do at Coors Field. He had 14 at-bats there back in 2022, the only trip he’s ever taken to Coors, and he produced 3 home runs in those 14 at-bats.

ebeimfohr: Alec Burleson – He’s probably not the name I expected to place here, but Burleson has had a breakout campaign in 2024, and the matchup is pristine. Randy Vasquez is a total gas can against left-handed bats, allowing a .436 xwOBA and .211 xISO this season.
TheLuuch: Giancarlo Stanton (FD) / Jake Burger (DK) – The Yankees are only on FanDuel; regardless, how can you not love Stanton’s matchup? He’s homered in 3 straight games and owns a .244 ISO and 17% barrel rate vs. LHP since the start of last season. As for Burger, he’s been one of the hottest hitters in baseball in the 2nd half. Now, he gets a southpaw at Coors Field? I’m not sure I care about his pOWN% number; I can’t overlook his .211 ISO vs. LHP this season.
