What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I like smaller-field, higher-dollar tournaments on DraftKings with limited entries, so I’ll run one lineup over there. On FanDuel, I want to fire 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. Our Top Stacks tool shows the Yankees as the highest-owned stack, and I’ll certainly be underweight on them since I only like a couple of guys from that lineup. I will play Garrett Crochet regardless of his pOWN%, so on DraftKings, I plan to differentiate my strategy at the SP2 position.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Even with several quality arms to target on a great slate for pitching, I will be over the field on Garrett Crochet, as I like his ceiling potential in this matchup. I like Chase Burns opposing Crochet as my SP2, and I will likely lock both pitchers into my lineups on DK unless I need more savings at the position. On the hitting side, I plan to spread my exposure to different stacks hoping for a big game, but my focus will be on the Yankees lefties, Rays, Orioles, and Giants.

ebeimfohr: I don’t see a way in which I’m getting away from the chalkier pitching tonight (i.e. Garrett Crochet), which means I’m looking to make pivots with the bats. Focusing on smaller-field tournaments will allow me to target bats projecting for lower ownership around chalkier pitching a bit more easily since those contests tend to have elevated “chalk” ownership.
