MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, April 11
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
CheeseIsGood: Jose Ramirez
Krayton: Jose Ramirez
TJ Zwarych: Jose Ramirez
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
CheeseIsGood: I have a small enough pool on both the hitting and pitching sides that I prefer small-field tournaments tonight. Ownership appears likely to be spread out enough not to be a huge issue, and I’ll focus on a few favorites on each side. I like Kyle Harrison, Luis Castillo, Logan Webb, and Emmet Sheehan on the pitching side. On the hitting side, I like the Giants and Red Sox. I’ll add in cheap power bats in good matchups around them.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. My biggest stance will be going overweight on the Dodgers. They will be facing Jack Leiter, who is a good pitcher, and he is the most expensive pitcher on FD, coming off 2 great starts. I always have interest in the Dodgers, but I really like them when they are facing good pitchers, as they tend to come in lower owned.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I plan to be severely underweight on Logan Webb (if not fading him completely). The Dodgers will be my top stack, and they’re not that tough to pay up for when staying cheap or in the middle range at pitcher with Kyle Harrison and Emmet Sheehan available.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
