MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, June 8

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Alex Sonty: I don’t wanna fly too far from the projections, so I’m full-stacking BAL to play whichever pitchers I want with a BOS mini-stack in single-entry. Kevin Gausman is so cheap that I wanna avoid the common build of him with Freddy Peralta and the Red Sox by rostering Kyle Gibson as my SP2 with Gausman. I could get frisky and fade the Red Sox pOWN for the Cubs in Cincinnati against an extreme fly-ball pitcher. Could.

Krayton: I will be going overweight on some of the lower-priced pitchers, especially Luis Medina. I do think Kyle Gibson is a fine play on DK because he is so cheap and should be able to handle most of the Rockies outside of maybe Ryan McMahon. The stacks I like include BOS, TEX, CHC, CIN, and STL, and I will be mixing and matching those stacks with some of the cheaper pitching options on both sites.

tcsmith031: It’s scary, but I plan to be under the field on some of the chalkier offenses this afternoon. The Red Sox against Nick Nastrini are projecting for significant ownership again, while the Rangers and Cardinals also appear to be on the popular side. The Braves, Mariners, Cubs, and Giants are some viable alternatives to which I’ll be getting plenty of exposure.

TJ Zwarych: I plan to load up on cheap pitchers so I can stack up all the expensive bats that I want on this slate. I’ll still play some Kyle Gibson despite his heavy projected ownership, but I’ll also look to be overweight on Luis Medina, Andrew Heaney, and Alec Marsh.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
